1. Reread lines 1-17 on pg. 38 list 3 details about their society. What is your opinion of their society?

2. In what ways are George and Hazel more like robots than humans? Why do you think this is?
George and Hazelare more like robots than humans because they have been handicapped for so long they became  a custom to what was going on so they really didnt realize what was going on so they started to think like robots because of the handicaps they had to wear.
3. How would you describe the government in 2081 according to this story? Provide an example from the text.
I would describe the government as cruel and demanding. because who wants people to become equal in every possible way that they can and me personally i wouldnt want to be equal.
4.  What does it tell you about the world that Harrison lives in if his mother has "average" intelligence and that means she cannot remember anything or think too long about anything?The story tells you that the world that Harrison lives in is not really concerned about how dumb or smart the person or individual really is.
5. How does the ballerina change from the beginning to the end of the story? How do you know? (a. the author tells you  b. her actions  c. what other characters say about her?
The ballerina changes from the beginning to the end. she changes because in the beginning she has handicaps coming out of her eyeballs but at the end Harrison confronts the ballerina then she realizes that she doesnt rally look like that and she starts taking the handicaps off that is how she changes from the beginning to the end.
6. What does the fact that Harrison is able to influence people tell you about how he is a threat to the government?Harrison is a threat to society because he will go around the town telling people that it would be okay to  take your handicaps off and be yourself nothing will happen to you thats how he is a threat to the government.
7. Why does the government want everyone to wear handicaps?
The government wants everyone to wear handicaps because they want them to be equal and alike in very way. So they make them wear handicaps to be equal so nobodies faster,slower,cuter,or uglier than anybody.
8. How would you describe George and Hazel's reaction to their son's death? Why is their reaction like this
George and Hazels reaction to there sons death was they really didnt know what ws going on because they crossed over and they really didnt care.
