Leaving for lunch

Faith Plummer June 5,2014 english period 2-3 Katie was just starting high school like any other typical teenager, and she heard that her school lets them go out for lunch. She was so excited because she would get a chance to hang out with her friends and learn responsibility of leaving and being able to come back on her own. Unlike John at a school like East Orange Campus it feels like a jail, he gets no freedom, he does not get a chance to show his level of responsibility so he acts like how he is being treated some thing like a prisoner or even an inmate. I think if we could leave for lunch we would be more focused and productive. Students should be able to leave school for lunch because I think it gives the kids a time to relax and get their mind ready for the rest of the day. It seems to help students to get better grades in some states, because its like you have freedom unlike schools that do not it feels like jail and than the students begin to act like they really are in jail. I think will act different and get better grades if they are just able to get a taste of the real world and how it feels to be on a real time limit and if thy dont come back they will suffer the consequences as if they were on a job and they had to be back at a certain time. Some students have certain allergies to different food products, so you never know what the person is able to eat and you dont know how bad the allergic reaction could be, it could be something so major to something so minor. Some schools let their students leave for lunch and some schools dont because of many consequences like kids not coming back, getting hit by a car, killed ext. You never know so they dont let them leave for lunch. And other schools let them leave school to let them get refreshed and unwinding from being in the class all day. it helps some kids focus on their school work work because they get to have free time and a chance to breathe and relax their mind. Thats why i think students should be able to leave school for lunch.

Vocab boot camp

Sometimes Alea is omnipotent and omniscient to everyone when she is trying to say her narrative and I'm being dishonorable, eccentric, and mockery to her and all she wants is some empathy

Vocabulary boot camp

Some times I'm humerous when I am  mad.

A lot of people persume things when they really don't know what is going on.

A lot of people manipulate things to get there way.

Some people try to act like the real thing but really all they are is pseudo.

When i first got my new phone I was admiring the beauty's of it.

MISSING YOU

Missing you is so hard to get by
I mean come on i just cant let it fly

All people do is tell these lies
We are left to do nothing but try

We may cry sometimes
But we have to remember the good times

Because missing you is to hard to get by
People may often act like a spy

But we cant focus on thy
To where i regret my mistakes in the sky

So we wouldnt look in the mist and die
When we looked into each others eye

Missing you is so hard to get by
I mean come on i just cant let it fly

SPIKE LEE

 SPIKE LEE                                                                                                                   January 30, 2014

Spike Lee was born Shelton Jackson Lee on March 20, 1957, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was making amateur films at age 20, and won a Student Academy for his graduate thesis film. His first student film, Last Hustle in Brooklyn, was completed when he was an undergraduate at Morehouse College. Lee went on to graduate from the New York University Film School in 1982.Lee became a director of promise with his first feature film, She's Gotta Have It, in 1986. The film was shot in two weeks and cost $175,000 to make, but grossed more than $7 million at the box office, making it one of the most profitable films made in 1986.

In 2006, Lee directed and produced a four-hour documentary for television, When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts, about life in New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. He also did well at the box office that year with the crime caper Inside Man starring Clive Owen, Jodie Foster and Denzel Washington. His most recent feature film release, Miracle at St. Anna (2008), tells the story of four African-American soldiers trapped in an Italian village during World War II. This movie was praised for bringing the often overlooked experience of black infantrymen -- known as buffalo soldiers -- to the big screen.

GANG VIOLENCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Topic- Stopping Gang Violence

My perspective on this issues that the level of gang violence has increased tremendously in the last couple of years. "There were approximately 785,000 active street gang members in the United States, according to the National Youth Gang Center in 2007.In 2011, the National Gang Intelligence Center of the Federal Bureau of Investigation asserted that "There are approximately 1.4 million active street, prison, and outlaw of  gang members comprising more than 33,500 gangs in the United States." Approximately 230,000 gang members were in U.S. prisons or jails in 2011. More than 1,800 gangs were known to be operating in the UK in 2011. The term “street gang” is commonly used interchangeably with “youth gang,”. That was a very large amount as you can see and as you know we need to try a little harder to make that amount decrease because it is getting too high. My estimation the age of kids in a gang is from the age of 10 until when ever and that's a really young age and we have to take a part in the kids life's to make there decisions better cause that amount of gang members is a ridiculous number and I'm pretty sure we can change that.

authors perspective

The authors perpective is who is trying to tell the story. The authors perspectve of the last story we read is to inform you on what was happening to the girl by every second that went by.The topic will be why do people use phones to communicate and not letters anymore.I probably wouldn't be able to because it would get personal to what i would do.

What are some of the lessons that we can learn by studying nature

" One touch of nature makes the world kin"William Shakespeare. You can learn about relationships by studying the behaviors if different animals. We as humans are simular but are different from animals. Humans belong to a different extant genera species Homo sapiens.
Although some humans with 70% simular DNA maker they are in social behaviors and should not be considered humans who developed a more defined social behavior and interaction. Humans are simular but different from animals.
The animal kingdom can also teach us about survival and the pecking order. He animal kingdom can teach us about how animals eat, sleep, and live. The pecking order is about species, genus, order, family, class, kingdom, and phylum.
Plants and trees teach us about how everything in life goes through seasons. Plants and trees teach us that everything has a time when the are going to go through seasons which change through out your life. In some seasons of your life you may go through things that last about the same length as a season and than some last for a short period of time. Plants help us through seasons by the colors being able to change and when the leaves fall off the stem and then they grow back brighter and more stunning than before. The trees help us through seasons by the leaves changing colors and some just fall off and than some trees stay green all year long through every season of the year just like some people do they never change.
With all of the technology and institution's that we have today it is easy to forget we are apart of nature, but there is a lot to learn if we study the world among us.
If we actually take the time to study the world around us is personally think that the world will be better because people won't take their environment for granted like the people do now we treat are environment like garbage and not only is it hurting the plants and trees around us it is hurting us to and we as humans fail to realize that.
